I’ve had a few hours hands-on with the Milestone and I have to say I really loved it. It brings the fun of Android to a really useful form factor and design. The capacitive screen, keyboard and 5mp camera go together to make this an excelent value package. Slightly too small, in my opinion, to be a fully productive web-app tool but for a smartphone, this is about as much as you could hope to get in a 24/7 pocketable package. First of all, thanks to Jeff Hill of Misticaudio for sending over this case for review. They’ve stepped in at just the right time with a leather case for the Archos 5IT that fits well, doesn’t impact on the usability of the device and looks great at a very acceptable cost. $28 is a good [...]

SmartDevices could really have something special if they made the jump to a leading-edge ARM platform and focused on Android as the OS. With an ARM11 CPU at 600Mhz though, this isn’t going to impress web-centric users. SmartDevices SmartQ V7 launched in China. Tweet
