Today, on the last day of 2009, it’s time to talk about something that’s been a hot-topic in 2009 but something I’ve never talked about before!

Information on the ICD Ultra appeared via Engadget and NBC (Via Ebooktest) over the over the weekend and we’ve just spotted that the information is also available on a new webpage and hidden PDF on the ICD website. Looking quite sexy and with a brain to match, this is one pad we’ll be keeping a close eye on when we go to CES in Jan. The Notion Ink Tegra will run Androd on a new Nvideo Tegra platform.

There are many new MID devices being released these days, and it seems that the 7-inch screen size is gaining popularity among the fans of reading on mobile devices. Users looking to read books, comics or work documents have shown great interest in SmartDevices (SmartQ7, SmartV7), WitsTech (A81/W1060), and other 7-inch multi-function MIDs. I will be analyzing this a bit more over the next few days because it’s an interesting product that runs along the lines of the Open Pandora project we showed you yesterday. The gaming device is built around a Samsung ARM platform with a Cortex A8 core running at over 800Mhz so it’s going to [...]

I have every confidence that ASUS will produce a ‘pad’ under the Eee PC brand. The questions is, when? Slashgear are relaying information from Digitimes that says it will come too. Unfortunately, Digitimes don’t have any more information that I do so all the questions remain. This has been a totally useless broadcast message from [...]

Not too much information on this one but we’re hoping that it’s a product that forms a range of complimentary devices based around larger screens, high-end ARM-based processors and Android. We’ve been very happy with the Archos Tablet but we’re happy to see more competition in this sector. Dell Android tablet hitting CES 2010 – [...]

When did you last see a 3G-capable, WVGA capacitive touch, 5Mp, high-power platform with a huge application library for 350 Euros? The Acer Liquid appears to be lowering the entry point into the new, high-powered smartphone category.
