As Sascha Pallenberg from netbooknews.com said there is no chance they will be successful at selling smarbook type of devices and tablets for over US$300, they are not Apple.

This could be exactly the device I'm looking for. :-)

Slashgear says $300. But, even at $600, it'd still be very high on my list. I basically need to decide between this as the EnTourage eDGe. Probably the biggest decision point will be "when does it come to market".

I posted on their blog asking that... hopefully I'll hear soon.

I'll go with Chippy. This thing has so much packed in and some new and unreleased technology that $500 would probably be on the low end.

Oh, and the only somewhat similar device available now to my knowledge, but with smaller and "normal" screen and without 3G, GPS and camera is Smart V7 that sells for about $300 and doesn't have Tegra.

If Tegra T20 is really the next generation then it's even less likely that this is going to be cheap and probably means (together with the screen) that we won't see this on the market for quite some time.

Tegra based Laptops are announced for $150, this is the same without the keyboard and with a touchscreen instead. Why should it suddently cost $500. I think that a price below $300 and battery life of 20 hours is possible for this, unless they would be slow at ramping up the mass manufacturing of this specific tablet model. If they don't, someone else will mass manufacture these soon.
