CeBIT is a little different for me this year as I’m staying home on ‘baby alert.’ Assuming my wife doesn’t go into labor early I’m going to make the most of it by taking the opportunity to get some good overview coverage going. I’ll be working in the studio covering news as it comes in [...]

Not a long story… the Joojoo has had it’s launch pushed back to March 25th. Gizmodo reported the story, but doesn’t have a link to the source (I’ve emailed them and will update when we get it.) Gizmodo quotes the following: Earlier this month, Fusion Garage’s JooJoo Internet tablet went into full production with an [...]

Just a quick word of warning. While the iLet Mini might look good and suggest a comfortable web browsing experience, it’s not exactly going to perform if you put it to those sort of tasks. The 600Mhz CPU that we suspect is VIA’s ARM9-based Wondermedia Prizm platform, just doesn’t have the power to handle it. [...]

Update: Notion Ink Adam specifications and links are now in the database. A video published last week by the Times of India has Notion Ink co-founder Rohan Shravan showing off what is being called a “final” version of the ever intriguing Adam tablet. The video has some nice close-ups of the unit, but it still [...]

There’s always a surprise or two on the last day at an exhibition. I spotted this newbie on the Sequans booth at MWC and it wasn’t until I reviewed my photos this evening that I bothered to look any further into it. It turns out to be quite interesting.

We showed you the other week that Engadget got their hands on a pre-production version of the Dell Mini 5 — they initially hooked us up with a nice gallery, but I’ve personally be waiting eagerly for a full list of thoughts, and according to the Mini 5’s popularity chart over in the product database, [...]

Or perhaps we should say base? Anyway, a Greek site has turned up the first look at the Dell Mini 5’s dock. The dock has HDMI out as well as USB port (likely to power the unit and transfer files from a computer) The Mini 5 [Product page] will be able to do 720p video [...]

A phone I’ve had my eye on in Europe for quite a while now is the Acer Liquid. With a Snapdragon processor, capacitive touchscreen and a good-looking set of specifications you’d expect it to cost more than it does but if you’re in the EU, this little pocket rocket can be picked up for under [...]

As expected, the Dell Mini 5 was available for hands-on at the Pepcom event at Mobile World Congress and we wasted no time in getting our hands as near to the device as possible. In this video we find out that the Dell Mini 5 is one of a family of devices that Dell are working on.

Intel are certainly not scared of operating systems. While we were at the Pepcom MWC event yesterday we got to see the Aaava Moorestown prototype running Android.

We knew that Dell would have the Mini 5 [Product page] at MWC and it looks like Netbooknews.com has one of the first looks. Not really any new info, but the device being showed off looks extremely slick, and it is likely very near its production form (if not already there). The person giving the [...]

If you’ve been paying attention to Mobile World Congress at all today, you’ll find that the big news is Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Series (as they are now calling it). This is the latest version of Microsoft’s phone operating system and it is a pretty big change from the previous version. A lot of people [...]

‘Always-on’ is going to be a seriously important weapon in the fight for the netbook market for ARM-based ‘smart’ devices. The Airlife 100 appears to offer that in a well-balanced netbook-style package.

There has been lots of talk about Notion Ink’s upcoming Adam Slate device which will be running Android. One of the reasons why this 10” slate has interests piqued – it is one of the first devices that we’ve seen using the oft-mentioned, but never quite implemented, Pixel Qi screen, that might be coming to [...]
