Though we might not have loved the N900 as a consumer phone [Product page] [Review] it’s definitely a wonderfully hackable device for those who have the proper skills. Because PS3 controllers and the N900 are both Bluetooth equipped, they can be paired together. In the video below, you’ll see someone cleverly using their N900 as [...]

Engadget has managed to get their hands on a pre-production Dell Mini 5 [Portal page] (aka Dell Streak or M101), and they’ve got a nice gallery of the device up on their site as well as a brief video. Hopefully they’ll drop some hands-on impressions later, but for now it’s pretty much just visual media. [...]

It always makes me laugh when I hear about $99 smartbooks competing with netbooks because the only real difference in cost is a few dollars in silicon, plastic and battery. The other thing that makes me laugh is how people get hung up on parts cost and potential profit while forgetting the market reasearch, r&d, [...]

Rumors are brewing about a product that ASUS will launch in June (Computex?) According to chairman Jonney Shihm it will be a ‘killer.’ No-one quite knows what it’s going to kill at the moment but the sensible money is on a tablet. At the same time as releasing the new Google Buzz feature on Gmail, Google also updated their maps clients to include Buzz features and it’s great to see this level of mobile internet, location, friends and social media integration. I’ve taken a look at it on a couple of smartphone.

Boy it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a decent looking slider. Just to remind you, this sliding Android device is a phone in addition to a potentially awesome MID. We caught a quick look at the Inbrics M1 at CES 2010. At the time, Inbrics was unsure if they’d be bringing it to [...]

Pocketnow.com has gotten its hands on some images and a video of the HTC Incredible, and upcoming phone which looks quite a bit like the HTC HD2 and appears to be on its way to Verizon (the boot sequence shows a Verizon animation in the video.) Despite aesthetic similarities between the HD2, the Incredible comes [...]

Engadget has found the Dell Mini 5 as it passes through the FCC. Not a lot of info here except for the fact that it has the right bands for AT&T, Rogers, Bell, and Telus data. Which means it’ll probably be launching with AT&T. The question that remains is whether or not it’ll be officially [...]

OK, they didn’t actually mention Origami once but as they talk around the target usage scenarios for the iPad, all I hear is praise for the market that, just a few months ago was a non-starter and is exactly what Origami was aiming for. The true personal computer is here, the sofa tablet is here, [...]

Jenn of Pocketables.net pointed out today in a tweet that Apple is advertising the iPhone as a multitasking device. On the “Why you’ll love the iPhone” page, we see the following quote: And since iPhone multitasks, you can make a phone call while emailing a photo or surfing the web over a Wi-Fi or 3G [...]
