Brad Linder over at Liliputing has spotted a device on it’s way through the FCC that appears to be a new device made by Fusion Garage, the company responsible for the failed Joojoo. Fusion Garage’s first device, the Joojoo, didn’t quite take off because it failed to deliver on many of the objectives that the [...]

It has been 3 working days since I started my self-initiated challenge to have my Iconia A500 replace my HP 2730p at work. It took the first day to get it set up and configured, and a second day that I was out sick to really solidify how I was going to run the Acer [...]

Motorola is definitely going to get a bad rap for this one. Remember that Xoom that Motorola claimed would be the first 4G LTE tablet, once sent in for an after-sale upgrade? Yeah well the Xoom has been out for months now with no word on when that upgrade would become available. Today Samsung has [...]

Cheesy headline aside… the second Asus Eee Pad, the Slider, is marching toward a US release as Wireless Goodness points out. The 10” tablet was recently caught attempting to tip-toe its way through the FCC. The Eee Pad Slider is another keyboard-equipped Honeycomb-running Slate like the Eee Pad Transformer. While the Transformer’s keyboard actually detaches, [...]

Over the last 2 years, I have gone to work almost every day with my HP EliteBook 2730p Tablet PC. It has been a stalwart and constant companion. It has weathered many a day with me at work, both in the office and on travel, both good days and the bad. But at the two year [...]

If I saw this out the window of a plane, I’d be a little bit terrified: This seemingly horrifying scene is the result of the way that images are captured by the sensors that we find in many modern smartphones. Unlike real film cameras, active pixel sensors (like those found in many smartphones) don’t [...]

TabCo has been making splashes in the tablet-sphere with a major guerilla marketing campaign and plenty of teasing for an upcoming tablet that they’ll be announcing on August 15th. Though I’m not convinced that throwing money at marketing will make a successful product out of an awful one, I’m certainly interested to see what they [...]

Sony is steadily releasing short videos showing some pretty awesome Rube Goldberg machines involving their upcoming S1 and S2 tablets to build hype for the devices. The tablets, which were recently previewed for the press, are expected to hit the market this Fall. I suppose Sony hopes to keep our attention with these videos until [...]

Verizon is well on the way launching all 6 of the initial 4G devices on their roadmap. First was the HTC Thunderbolt, then the Samsung Droid Charge, and now LG’s Revolution. I was expecting the LG Revolution to represent a lesser performing and lower cost entry into the 4G-equipped phone sector though it’s actually priced up there with the others, but also performing better than I had expected.
